Halloween Costume Party Invite Poem
Skeletons Arms The skeleton arms have string or wool running through them. With a length of string doubled in half thread the loop through 6 of the discarded peg springs and then thread the rest of the string through the loop and pull tight to that the springs are firmly connected to the end of the string. This is the skeleton s hand. Stick two peg halves back to back with the string sandwiched between. The tapered end of the pegs should point to the hand. This is the forearm. In a similar fashion glue two more peg halves so that the rounded end meets the rounded ends of the forearm. This is the skeleton s upper arm. Finally make the skeletons shoulder with two more pegs the rounded ends meeting the tapered ends of the upper arm. Cut the remaining string at the tapered ends of the skeleton s shoulder. Make two arms in this way. Use some pegs as clamps to hold the pegs until the glue has started to fix the pegs. Leave to one side to dry.
You simply want to fill them with water and add the "specimens". Things like funny eyeballs crazy teeth or other craft supplies make cute and funny specimen jars. If you want to do something more spooky think about using cauliflower for pickled brains! Sock skeleton is one of my favorite craft ideas! You can transform a white sock into a cute and cuddly skeleton with the use of some thread and buttons for eyes. If you are someone who likes to sew this is the perfect Halloween craft! This is also a great craft for kids because they get to keep the soft skeleton all year-long. A very simple Halloween craft that doubles as great Halloween decor is spiderweb clip art. Clip art is wonderful because it is as simple as using a computer program to print whatever art you would like.
Making the Halloween decorations is not only a fun activity; it gives your house a festive look. One need not be an expert in art to make these decorations. All you need is loads of imagination creativity and a few items available around the house and you are ready to get going. Some simple ideas are given below to get you started. One of the easiest Halloween decorations to make is creepy candles. You will need candles sequins beads colored threads and any other trinkets that take your fancy. The candles should be of dark colors you could go for the Halloween colors of black and orange. With the help of simple white glue stick these trinkets around the candles in any manner you like. You may have to use tweezers to stick the small items onto the candle.
You need a white sheet as per the size of the bush a newspaper permanent black magic marker or fabric paint and cloth pins. The idea is to make a ghost like figure by painting a ghost on the white paper folding the white sheet balancing the sheet with the newspaper and securing the figure with the help of clothespins. Sounds really simple but it is definitely going to scare the passerby. Idea #2 - The other idea for Halloween is to make your house look very festive and very scary both the inside and the outside. I will show you how to get a scary path way. You will need lots of brown lunch bags orange paint sand and tea light or votive candle. Paint the bags orange in color and cut it out to make a scary face of a pumpkin. Fill half of the pumpkin face with sand and put a candle in it and light it.
