You simply want to fill them with water and add the "specimens". Things like funny eyeballs crazy teeth or other craft supplies make cute and funny specimen jars. If you want to do something more spooky think about using cauliflower for pickled brains! Sock skeleton is one of my favorite craft ideas! You can transform a white sock into a cute and cuddly skeleton with the use of some thread and buttons for eyes. If you are someone who likes to sew this is the perfect Halloween craft! This is also a great craft for kids because they get to keep the soft skeleton all year-long. A very simple Halloween craft that doubles as great Halloween decor is spiderweb clip art. Clip art is wonderful because it is as simple as using a computer program to print whatever art you would like.

You might want to use pliers. Braid them together and make them into a wreath/circle by twisting the top hooks together. Next tear or cut pieces of paper... about a foot long and wide. Pinch the paper strips in the middle and crunch it up as if you were making a flower. Tuck the "paper flowers" into the little holes in the braided wires and pull tight. Fill up your wreath to fullness! Spray paint it! About three coats of paint is good with about 50 minutes drying time in between. Use the kind of spray paint that holds up outside (in case of rain). Please do the spray painting outside or in a well ventilated room. Cover tables with those inexpensive plastic tablecloths. When the paint is good and dry attach the decorations with the hot (low temp is fine) glue gun. Just be careful not to burn yourself. Adults and older kids should be the glue gunners. You are done! Hang it up on your front door maybe with an orange light aimed at it.

You can use a cardboard box in making a scary coffin. Also get a large-size cardboard piece and cut out the shape of a coffin for the opening/cover. Paint a red or white cross over the top of the coffin. You can imitate the sound of stepping over a mass of bones by drying bread in the oven and placing them under an area rug. Cut out stone hedges out of Styrofoam paint them gray and write R.I.P. over them with a marker. You can also write your names or guest s names for that spooky feeling. Make body parts by stuffing rubber/latex gloves with cotton and painting the opening red for that bloody effect. For a realistic touch to your home decor you can fill goblets with blood and display them in hallways and your dining area! This will enhance that vampire-in-coffin feel.
